Past Doctoral Qualifying Exams: Applied Mathematics Track and Applied Probability and Statistics Track

Applied Mathematics Track: The scope of the examination in applied mathematics changes during spring 2011.  Material from the course Math 651 begins to be examined instead of the courses Math 689 and Math 690 (which are now part of the oral exam).  Math 613 remains on the applied mathematics exam through this change.

The scope of examinations in analysis and linear algebra - numerical methods remains unchanged.

Applied Probability and Statistics Track:  There is some change in the scope of the examinations and the distribution of topics over the three parts of the examinations during spring 2011.
