So you want to add an Applied Statistics minor to your current major? Good choice. Here's all you need to know:
Requirements:
In addition to the basic calculus sequence you need four required courses and one elective. The required courses are Math 222 (differential equations) or Math 226 (discrete analysis), Math 333 (probability and statistics), Math 337 (linear algebra), and Math 344 (regression analysis) or their honors equivalents. The elective may only be selected from the list below.
Becoming an Applied Statistics Minor:
In order to become an applied statistics minor, you need to print and complete two copies of this form and bring it to Fatima Ejallali in Room 606, Cullimore Hall.
Advising for the Applied Statistics Minor:
If you have questions about what courses to choose, please see Professor Young in Room 519, Cullimore Hall or Professor Subramanian in Room 210C, Cullimore Hall.
