For Fall 2009, the Department of Mathematical Sciences is expecting to hire candidates for the following full-time positions:
Post Doctoral Research Associate (Posting Number: 0600458)
- Position Summary: Conducts research in mathematical fluid dynamics.
- Essential Functions: Research in computational fluid dynamics; modeling, analysis, and numerical computation of interfacial flows with soluable surfactant and asymptotic analysis; comparison of theory with experiments.
- Prerequisite Qualifications: PhD in Applied Mathematics or related field. Preference will be given to Mathematical Fluid Dynamics.

- Position Summary: Conduct research under supervision of Professors Michael Siegel and Michael Booty.
- Prerequisite Qualifications: MS in Applied Mathematics and Research Experience.
