Computational Science Training for Undergraduates in the Mathematical Sciences (CSUMS)

Sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF)

  • The NSF CSUMS program at NJIT engages six to eight mathematical sciences majors per year into research projects in mathematics and scientific computing.
  • Students participate in research and scientific computing workshops and are exposed to computation on parallel clusters.
  • Stipends are provided for two semesters and the summer in between.
