Undergraduate Biology and Math Training Program (UBMTP)
Sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF)
- The UBMTP Program introduces students to the concepts of mathematical modeling of biological phenomena.
- Provides a generous stipend during both the summer and academic year to carry out cutting edge research.

Computational Science Training for Undergraduates in the Mathematical Sciences (CSUMS)
Sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF)
- The NSF CSUMS program at NJIT engages six to eight mathematical sciences majors per year into research projects in mathematics and scientific computing.
- Students participate in research and scientific computing workshops and are exposed to computation on parallel clusters.
- Stipends are provided for two semesters and the summer in between.
- Application forms for CSUMS participation in 2008 are now available.
