Research Interests

The research of Vladislav V. Goldberg is in the field of differential geometry: projective differential geometry (PDG), conformal differential geometry (CDG) and the web geometry (WG). He is the world leading authority in WG and PDG. He published two monographs in PDG, one monograph in WG and one in CDG. His most recent monograph Differential Geometry of Varieties with Degenerate Gauss Maps was published by Springer-Verlag in 2003. His current projects include an investigation of the structure of varieties with degenerate Gauss maps and their singularities and finding conditions of linearizability of one-codimensional d-webs.
