Information for Minors in Applied Mathematics
So you want to add an Applied Mathematics minor to your current major?  Good choice.  Here's all you need to know:

Requirements:

In addition to the basic calculus sequence you need three required courses and two electives. The required courses are Math 222 (differential equations), Math 244 (probability) or Math 333 (probability and statistics), and Math 337 (linear algebra) or their honors equivalents. The electives may only be selected from the list below.  Note that Math 226 and Math 326 do not count toward the minor.

Becoming an Applied Mathematics Minor:

In order to become an applied math minor, you need to print and complete two copies of this form and bring it to Fatima Ejallali in Room 606, Cullimore Hall.

Advising for the Applied Mathematics Minor:

If you have questions about what courses to choose, please see Professor Young in Room 519 Cullimore Hall or Professor Wang in Room 625 Cullimore Hall.
